Bloodhounds have the most accurate and strongest sense of smell of any dog breed and they have been bred specifically to find human beings. Bloodhounds are large dogs with hard fur who can weigh up to 50kg.
Bloodhounds are extremely loyal and are a very gentle, friendly dog. Their desire to follow a scent makes them very useful, but also means that sometimes they can stubbornly refuse to obey orders and thus can be hard to train. While they are generally healthy, they are particularly prone to bloat.
