This small breed of dog is poodle like in appearance and normally sports a white coat. They have a two layered coat, with both being soft, and the upper coat being very fluffy. The breed needs regular grooming to ensure infections do not become an issue, but other than this, it is a fairly healthy breed.
The Bichon is an intelligent dog that displays a curiosity about the world around it. It enjoys exercise and socialisation, and will be happy to be both active or to relax with its owner. This breed generally get on well with children, although temperament does vary from dog to dog.
